Part 2!!!

Hey girls! So sorry about the lack of major updates lately! I started a new job and I am working 12 hours a day 5 days a week plus my daughter is in all kinds of sports so they might be few and far in between but thank you for the comments! Keep them coming!!!!!


"Lets get him back to the hotel before I puke!" Talbot said.

-Later that night-

-Knock Knock-
Heather heard on her door an almost silent knock.
"Heather, its Sarah hon. Are you okay?" Sarah, Heather's best friend and Sid Crosby's girlfriend called through the door.
Heather got off the bed and opened the door.
"Hey...." Heather slurred in a drunken crying fit.
"Oh my poor closet Canadian!" Sarah responded to the look on her friends face. It was their personal inside joke that always made her laugh.
"I can't believe he did that!" Heather cried, not laughing and slamming the door.
"Wow...okay....hon listen, he's not worth it! You are so pretty and funny, and look at what he's with! She looks like a rat wih over grown teeth and hair!" Sarah was laughing while saying this. At that moment Heather lost it and died laughing.
"HAHAHA! SO true! Oh Sarah, no matter what you can make me laugh my ass off!" Heather replied through tears of laughter instead of sadness now.
"C'mon eh! Let's go check on Tangers!" Sarah extended her hands out to help Heather off the floor which she had fallen on laughing.

-Kris' POV-

"I was so stupid not to take my migrine medicine this morning!" Kris thought to himself. "That check by Tampa Bay was't helping either!" It was 2:45 in the morning and he couldn't sleep. Talbot wasn't back from hanging with Staal so it was nice and quiet. I couldn't stop thinking about Heather at the bar. She was so heartbroken, yet so caring about me. Over the past few months we had ecome close, but she loved Geno , not me. I had lost Jenny about six months before meeting her. Some drunk driver took her from me. Heather had been there to listen . She was everything Jenny couldn't be to me anymore. I was about to fall asleep when I heard a knock at the door followed by a slew of giggles. I figured it was some teenager or puckbunny and tried to ignore it. I turned over and that's when I heard Sarah's thick Canadian accent through the door.
"Come on Heather. He must be asleep. We'll check on him in the morning."
I got out of bed so fast I thought I was going to puke again from the pain. I knew I had to see her though. To make sure she was okay.
"Hang on! I'm coming!" I called into the dark. God that really didn't sound right....I laughed thinking to myself.
I opened thedoor and stepped back squinting from the bright lights of the hotel hallway.
"Oh sorry!" Heather said as her and Sarah stepped quickly inside.
"It's cool. I took some meds so I should start feeling bettr here soon." I replied.
"Um....Kris....I can't see a thing and I am NOT risking my life to get to a chair in here!" Sarah said laughing. I could tell she was up to something. "Besides, I am really tired so I am going to go back to Sid. Just wanted to make sure you were okay." And like that she was gone. So there we wee alone. I could tell she was drunk. She was too giggly and couldn't stand up without holding onto the wall.
"Here, take my hand." I said to her holding it out for her to take.
"Ugh! I HATE TALBOT RIGHT NOW!" She slurred. "He gve me vodka when we got back." She laughed and slurred more.
I put my arm around her waist and guided her to my bed.
"Hey Kris, did you know Geno had her here?" She asked sounding like a little girl.
"Not until after the game. I wanted to call you, but decided that I would wait and tell you when we got back. I think a lot of the guys were." I replied.
"Am I not pretty enough? I mean, I tried so hard to be what he wanted. I grew my hair out longer and dyed it blonde, tried to lose weight, be there for him..." She trailed off.
"Heather, you are beautiful! And as far as being what he wanted, you need to be you! I love being around you when he's not. You become this fun person. When we hang out you make me laugh. When he's around, you become a robot. You aren't real like." I said pushing her bangs out of her face.
"I want to do something right now, but I don't know if it's because I am drunk or because I truely want to." She said. God it was so cute how she jumpedaround when she talked.
"What do you want to do?" I replied noticing my headache was gone.
"Oh...nothing. Look, I'm gonna go back to my room. Thanks for talking." She got up and stumbled trying to walk in a straight line.
:Stay? We can watch MTV or something. We have tomorrow off so, sleeping isn't really needed."
"But I don't have any clothes. And when Kelsey comes back with TK she will wonder where I am at." She replied.
"I'll text her saying I wanted someone to stay with me and asked you. Get one of my Kasual shirts out. You can sleep in that." I replied texting Talbot and Kelsey.
"What about Talbot?" SShe asked shyly.
"I texted him and Godard answered saying he is passed out there. Kelsey is staying in your room with TK. So you know what will happen there!" I replied laughing and shutting my phone.
"Oh Lord! Fine, where's your shirt?"
I turned on the lgiht for the first time and took notice to what she was wearing. Her bleach blonde hair was 3/4 the way down her back. Her 5'11 athletic frame was draped in form fitting flare jeans, black heels, and a sexy red and black checkered top. "It's uh...." I couldn't think. I had never seen her like that. "In my black bag over here." I got up and got it for her. It was going on 5 AM now. God only knows why she got dressed for bed now.
-Heathers pov-
I went into the bathroom to cahnge. The nights events were catching up to me. As I put on his black Kasual shirt, I couldn't help but taking in his scent on it. "God, he smells so damn good!" I thought.
"Hey, you okay or do you need me to hold your hair?" A concerned Kris called through the door.
"I'm fine. Just folding up my clothes." I responded.
When I came out he was laying on his bed with just sweatpants on. He patted the spot next to him. I was so ired I got on the soft bed and cuddled up next to him. I was so tired and drunk I must of crashed . When I woke up it was past noon. Kris was nowhere to be found. Beside me wasa pink stargazer lilly(my absolute fave flower), a bagel, and a note. On the night stand was a sprite. I picked up the note and read:
Heather,
Went to the gym in town. Decided to let you sleep. Don't bother going to your room...it's occupied haha! We are close to the same size so just grab some of my clothes. Be back around 12:30. Hope you are feeling better! Later-Kris

I got up, grabbed a pair of his tattered Kasual jeans (yes I know.....haha everytime I have ever seen him anywhere he has on something Kasual lol:) ) and a white t-shirt. I had to laugh because I had to wear heels. I wasn't going to interupt the current "lovefest" going on in my room! I decided to call a cab and go to the mall. I had no way to do my makeup so I touched it up the best I could. I used some of his hair supplies to fix my hair and used my finger and toothpaste to brush my teeth. I ate my bagel and drank my sprite while waiting for the cab to come. I sent Kris a text telling him where I was going and asked him to send me a text if he wanted to meet up. I sent Mischa (Talbot's girl) and Sarah a text of where I would be. I had a lot to do today and not a lot of time to do it in.

-Kris' POV-

She had snuggled with me so close while she slept. She looked so peaceful until she started talking about Geno in her sleep. I couldn't take it anymore and around 9 decied to go to the gym. I left her a note and a hangover breakfast(thanks to Talbot I knew what to get her since I only drink a little), and left. It was a fifteen minute walk to the gym so instead of taking a cab or bus, I decied to walk it. I turned my I-Pod on and started running. I had to clear my head. Since Jenny died, I didn't think I could ever feel this way about a woman. When I got to the gym it was nice to see it slightly empty. I got so into my workout that I didn't even notice the time. It was 2:20 when I looked at the clock. "Shit! I told her I would be back by 12:30! I hope he doesn't think I was eatten alive by some puckbunnies!" I thought to myself. I hurried to the locker room and pulled out my cellphone. I had 5 missed texts and 2 missed calls. My mom and Sid had called me. I had texts from TK, Staalsy, Talbot, Godard, and her. I passed up everyone elses for hers.
Thanks for leaving me that note and breakfast! That was really sweet hon! :) Going to mall. Called cab. Come meet me up if you want! xoxo
I grabbed a quick shower and got a cab to the mall.

When I got to the food court, I looked for her long blonde hair and didn't see her.

I looked and saw a girl with dark brown short hair sorta like mine looking at me. She kind of looked like Heather, but not. My cell vibrating got my attention.
Gonna keep staring at me or come talk to me? xoxo
"HOLY SHIT! I didn't even know it was her!

-HPOV-
I lauged when he figured out it was me. It was so cute! That shy smile was to die for! Why had I never took notice before? Was I THAT involved with Geno? As he walked closer, I unconsicously fixed my new short dark brown inverted bob.
"You look absolutely stunning!" He said as he got closer.
"Thanks!" I smiled shyly.
"You cut your hair off....why?"
"Because I wanted to be free and to be me."
He was looking me up and down. I had purchased a completely new outfit and jewelry. Got my nails done and my makeup as well. Thank God for upscale salaons! The only downfall was I blew through $1500 in 2 hours! I pulled at my denim miniskirt. I felt self concious of how I looked. It was January but Sarah, Mischa, and I went tanning so I wasn't pale. I just felt out of place. I had gotten a teal tank top, matching flip flops, some silver hoop earrings, a flat topped ring, and a silver angel wing necklace to complete my new look. My stomach growling made me snap back to reality.
"Some of the guys are going to that seafood place with Malone tonight. You wanna go?" He asked shyly.
"You mean on a date?" I smiled.
"Well, umm....if you want to call it that."
"What time?" It was already 4:30.
"5ish. Malones wife and kids are coming too. You, Mishca, and Sarah alwys got along with Stephanie. Gneo will be there though. Is that okay?"
"Yeah it's fine. We better go."
We grabbed the bus becasue we decided it would be quicker than waiting for a cab. We got there at 6:15....fashionably late! When we rounded th corner my bff's and their significant others were waiting. Nobody including Sarah recognized me.
"Hey Kris! Whose the hottie?" Talbot asked with smile. That got hm elbowed by Mishca and an eye roll as well.
"My date." He smiled.
"Very pretty girl! Where did you meet?" Kelsey, TK's girlfriend asked.
"Geno's house. Awhile ago." He replied looking at Geno.
"She never at my house!" Geno replied in his broken English.
"Oh yeah I was!" I replied. "I lived there until that tramp." I said pointing at Oksana, "took my place!"
Kris grabbed my hand in response to my anger.
"Calm down." He whispered into my ear.
"Heather?!" I heard Sarah call.
"Yep! The new and improved!" I smiled.
"OMG! HOTNESS!" Mishca said.
"Guys, I would LOVE to talk but I haven't eatten all day and I am STARVED! Can we go inside?" I asked.
"Sure! Malone should be inside." Sid said smiling. Like the gentleman he is, Sid held the door open for everyone. Kris and I were inseperable the whole night. When asked if we were together, we looked at each other and then at Geno/Oksana and smiled.
"Nope, just friend like always." I replied hiding my true feelings inside.
"You two look like twin wth our hair cut the same way!" Oksana sai, her voice full of hate.
"I think she's beautiful!" TK rplied smiling at Heather They had been best friends since practically birth.
"Aww! Thank you TK!"
"So, TK, when is the wedding?" Malone asked trying to change the subject all together.
"Well," He laughed, "before Flower and after Army!"
"Oh Lord!" Kelsey said playfully smacking TK, "July 26th."
"Wow less than a year! This summer will be busy! We got Sid/Sarah, Army/Michelle, Flower/Vero, and you two!" Malone responded.
"Frequent flyer miles!!!!! Chicka chee chee!" Talbot said. That lifted the mood.
After a lovely seafood dinner we split up into groups. We were leaving te next morning so most of us responsible adults ddnt want to stay out....too late. :)
Sarh, Mischa, their boyfriends, Kris and I went ot the club. We didn't want a repeat of the night before so we went to a different one than the others. After getting enough alchol sin me I started dancing with Tanger. VIP in Tampa Bay was so different than Diesel! I waved to Sarah and Sid on the other side f the club. Those two trying to dance was a funny site to see even drunk! Talbot and Mischa were tearing up thedance floor. Made me look stupid. Kris had a beer in his hand and was trying like Sid t rock to the music. I walked up to himand started grinding on him. e was so shy he stopped moving.

-KPOV-
She was grinding her ass onme like no girl ever had. She looked so damn good! Talbot gave me a thumbs up as he dance and I just smiled back. When I couldn't control it anymore I sopped dancing. She looked at me confused. I motined I wanted to sit down and she followed. "C'mon Kris! She broke up with a guy yesterday! She doesn't want you!" I thought to myself. Just then TK came up.
"Hey Heather, Kelsey wants to dance and I am pooped. Will you go dance with with her for awhile?"
"SURE!" She yelled back huggng him as she got up.
When she was gone TK looked at me. I hated that look. It was his serious girl look.
"Dude! She is SO feeling you! She told me one night a long time ago when she was drunk! She said she wished Geno was you! She likes you man! When she dated any other guy she never looked at them the way she looks at you! I should know, I saw her every summer!"
"TK! CMON! She is out on the rebound. I want a real girlfriend. A real relationship. You know how I am."
"Do what you want bu you are stupid if you let her get away."
I watched as he walked up to Heather and Kelsey grinding on the dance floor. "Well Tangers, its now or never." I thought to myself.
"Hey Heather, I'm leaving. Here's my room key. We are roomies now. You wanna go back with me or stay until the club closes at 2?" I asked sorta hoping she would stay.
"Stay here! I'll see ya around 2:30 hon!" She replied.
"I got her!" Sarah said smiling.
"Thanks!" I replied. I knew Sarah was level headed and Heather would be safe with her and Mischa. I was off to find a Wal-Mart.....

-HPOV-
Sarah got tired about 1:30. It had been about half an hour since Tanger left. We all got on the bus nd went to the hotel. I was buzzed but very coherant. I said good-night to everyone and went to Kris' room. As I opened the door and walked in I was shocked. Candles were lite everywhere and Robin Thicke was playing softly in the background.
"Suprise...." Tanger said shyly smiling.
"Oh Tangers! Its...."
"A horrible idea. I'm sor..."

-KPOV-

Midsentence I was cut off by her lips pressing against mine. I lightly pushed her up against the now closed hotel door.
My hands ran over her body. She wasn't too skinny, but she wasn't heavy either. Just like I liked my women. Something to hold on to.
"Kris..." She sighed.
"Huh?" I asked looking her in the eyes.
"Are you sure?" She looked concerned.
"Mmmhhmmm." I said kissing her lips again. I needed to feel them on mine. Just then Promise by Jagged Edge came on.
"I love this song!" She said smiling the smile I liked so much.
"I know. I borrowed Staalsys compuer and burned a cd." I said so proud of my efforts. "Follow me." I said taking her hand and leading her to the jacuzzi tub filled with bubbles and floating rose petals.
"Tangers, why? Why me?" She asked.
"Ever since I lost Jenny, I felt like I couldn't be with anyone else. My world stopped. Then the othe night, I don't know. Seeing you heartbroken and down. I just wanted to be there for you. I never want to see you like that again. It broke my heart. I promise, I would never do what Geno did to you. You deserve so much more than that."
I saw tears forming in her eyes. I lifting my hand and wiped the single tear with my thumb.
"Kris, I dunno what to say. Thank you." She moved in to kiss me again.
That got me going again and there was no stopping myself this time. I reached for the bottom of er shirt and tugged it over her head. She was tugging at mine next. BeforeI knew it we were in the tub together. Everything was happening so fast, yet it felt so right.
"Kris..." She mummbled in between kisses.
"Yeah?" I asked only half listening.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" She asked me again.
I leaned her back against the back of the tub and kissed her neck. When she moaned I took that as okay to proceed.
"Kris....the bed....now" She said in a moment of passion.
We got out of the tub and I carried her straight to the bed.
She kissed me so needy. She let out a small gasp as I entered her.
"Oh God Kris!" She moaned as she moved in sync with me.
I couldn't last anymore after feeling her climax for the last time.
When we were done, I looked over at her and saw her smiling.
"What's that smile about?" I asked half laughing.
"That was the first time I never faked!" She laughed.
"Are you fucking serious?!" I askd dumbfounded.
"Yep! HAHA!"
We curled up together and fell asleep. I couldn't believe how lucky I was at that moment.
